Hi People Puppies
Guess what? Give up?
Here it is—my very own web page!
Here it is—my very own web page!
I hope lots and lots of you will visit me and send me your stories and photos. I ‘specially would like stories and photos of real dogs it you live in a blended pack.
To start out I’ll tell you about myself. I had to get this story ready for when Mummy was going to talk with somebody called A Publisher about my latest book. Here goes…
Once upon a time ago I was taken from my birth mother by people dogs and went to live with them. But I was very unhappy. I tried to please them but they were always cranky with me. One day they dumped me in the bush! Then I was very, very unhappy and very, very hungry.
A people dog called Council Ranger came and took me to a place called ‘the pound’.
One day some nice people dogs [Michael (Daddy) Gane and Lady Wombat (Mummy)] came and took me to their place. That day I became a member of the Gane pack. Daddy told Mummy that Chewbacca was a famous TV and movie alien who was rescued by a human so Chewbacca was a good name to give a rescued dog. But usually they call me Chewy.
My pack is the most important thing in the world to me. Mummy and Daddy are both pack leaders. They say they are a team [but actually, I think Mummy is the Alpha dog.] I’m the underdog in the pack—that’s okay because it means they look after me. And I am top dog in the canine or ‘real dog’ world.
Sometimes my pack leaders go away without me. When they go away for a long ‘forever and ever’ time they take me to a dog resort or pet motel. It’s good to see other real dogs, but the people dogs treat me as if I was just an ordinary, every-day, non-special dog. I miss taking Mummy for walks; I miss watching TV with Dad on my lounge; I miss Mum’s cooking and treats from the shops. But most of all I just miss being with Mummy and Daddy and wonder if they are really going to come and take me home again. Forever and ever is a long, long time but just when I’ve about given up—they come and collect me.
Of course I’m not scared of being abandoned [again]!
And rumours that I am scared of thunder are just not true!

I am a very brave dog!
YES I AM!
Chez Chien Chewy 18 July 2015
I asked Mummy to make a den for me and you. [She said okay but told me that people puppies call it a cubby.]
Here it is.
Here it is.
Mummy named it, ‘Chez Chien Chewy’. She said that’s French for Chewy Dog’s Place.
Once upon a time we had a people pack visit from Canada—a mummy and a daddy and two people puppies. The littlest people puppy didn’t speak English! Only French. She called me ‘Chien Chewy’—mummy says she’s spelt it right […actually she says she’s spelt it correctly…but that doesn’t sound like Aussie English to me.] Chien Chewy sounds like ‘She-en Shoey’ and Mummy says it means something like ‘doggy Chewy’. They were very nice friendly humans who gave me lots of hugs and cuddles and I had great play times in the back yard with the people puppies. The only thing I don’t understand is that they all liked...

C A T S !!!
‘Chez Chien Chewy’ looks something like my crate. That’s where I sleep at night. It’s nice and warm and cosy with a soft fluffy doughnut bed stuffed in it. And when it’s cold at night Mummy heats up a wheat pack in the microwave to put inside. The wheat pack reminds me of my birth mummy. But my crate is small. There’s only enough room inside for me.
But ‘Chez Chien Chewy’ is like TARDIS. It’s small outside, but inside it’s ginormous. So far I’m the only dog there, but the door is open and ready for dogs, and people puppies to come in. Grown-up and wrinkly humans are welcome too. My real dog cousin Taj will be first. Who will be next?
I’m really excited because it is going to be like an online club house for a super, super blended pack of people dogs and real dogs.

The first ‘super’ means it’s going to be
huge…
super-sized.
The second ‘super’ means it’s going to be fun…

‘Woof, woof, woof, woof, yap, woof’ to real dogs. [That means, ‘be sure to tell your humans to send pictures and stories’ to this website so Mummy can put them on this page]
Club Register: 24 July 2015
Hi people puppies, real dogs and all dog people
So far only have 3 members have joined the CCC club. Of course each one is very important and very special. But I am looking forward to meeting many more new humans and real dogs. … this is not a SECRET club.
Mummy made me my very own business card magnet and she remembered to put OUR email address on it—that where you send your drawings and photos to. But the card is so small so I’m writing it here in BIG letters.
Chez Chien Chewy Club Register
I want to update this register each week, but I can’t promise. I have to wait for Mummy to help ‘cause I’m not allowed to use the computer unsupervised. I love my mummy but she is always busy—sometimes she is even too busy to go for a walk with me!
Here is a picture of my cousin Taj--number 1 on the books. It’s not a good picture because she is hiding. I had a couple of other pictures that were better but Mummy has put them away somewhere and can’t find them.
[Thank you for your nice note Miss B. I hope to get a picture of Daisy soon. I wonder if she looks like my sister Daisy looked like? I like it when you come to talk to me when you see me waiting for Mummy outside the shops. It gets so boring waiting—and I don’t know why I can’t go in with her.

2 August 2015 Chewy's Club Update
Welcome to the 4 new members of my club:
There are the 2 dogs I met when the Gane Pack went on its ‘splore last week.
Merlin the Magnificent is a senior dog but no retirement for him. He, with his human, is a voluntary ranger keeping the park and beach clean and safe for the dogs and humans to enjoy. He is proud of his Border Collie heritage and has sired many puppy litters to carry on the tradition.
Halo Honey-pot is a sweet girl. She has the same sort of lovely rounded shape as you Taj, but not as pretty as you, of course. She must be well-loved by her human mum and dad that they are generous with feeding her. Please tell me Halo and Taj—is there some way I can convince my humans to give me more to eat?
Auntie Socorro is a very nice lady. I met her and Uncle Howard when I was still a puppy. They came for another visit a couple of years ago and Mummy took them on ‘splores where dogs are not allowed to go—It’s not fair that dogs are not allowed at so many nice places! Mummy told her about our website and she read all my blogs [including the ones I wrote for Mummy] and she said many nice things about me. But, I just can’t understand how they could like cats!
And this is Vinny. He’s a local dog and I sometimes see him at the shops when I take Mummy shopping. Here he is looking after his dad’s mobility scooter while he is in the shop.
So that’s the lot for this…
WHAT ? ! ...
An executive decision [that means I had no say in it!] has been made to allow ‘companion animals’ other than dogs to be admitted to the club. I am happy [NOT!] to welcome Kackie and Bootsie Morris.
