Mummy says thanks/merci for your photos. She took your photos and some pictures from the internet and pretty sparkling stickers and sparkly paper and made what she calls ‘scrapbook pages’.
I’m worried about Mum…she says it is winter in Canada—that can’t be possible. I take her for walks most days and so I know it is most definitely summer!
I’m also puzzled by the pictures that she got from the internet. They are scenes near Winnipeg and Cheticamp. What is that white stuff that seems to be all over the place?

Kira and Audrey—you have grown bigger since you were here. But I would know you if you could come back here. You might look different but I am sure you would smell the same.
[‘Chewy—it’s not polite to tell people that they smell’
‘But they do Mum—you want me to tell the truth don’t you? Sometimes you tell me I stink and I take that as a compliment!’]
We could have lots of fun playing in the back yard. Kira, I am the same age as you in people years. But in dog years, I’m a genuine senior—so please allow me to give you some advice… Never forget how to play. Many people puppies grow up and forget to have fun—they become old and BORING! You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to become boring.
Do you still have horrible animals (yuck! cats!) living in your house?

Mummy says you have a real dog in your pack. That’s a good thing. I’m sure he is a very good dog too—maybe the second best doggy in the world.
I hope you like my book—I really am the very best dog in the world you know…
Lots of licks,
from your cousin,
Chewy
