How are you? I am fine… well, pretty good, anyway…
I wish you were here… I’d really like a good chin wag with a real dog. People dogs [aka humans] are okay, but they just don’t understand you—not like a real dog does.
I took my human on a good walk last week. It’s called the Kookaburra Walk—but I can’t understand why. There were no kookaburras anywhere—only noisy crows and ding-a-ling bellbirds. However there were really interesting scent trails and intriguing smells. But does my human notice—No! She’s got her head up high—too high to smell a thing. I want to explore the scent trails and mark the walk out as MY territory but she only allows a 3 second stop at each spot. I found a remarkably wonderful smell and I was about to roll and cover myself with it—and she just jerked the lead and I had to leave it behind. It’s just not fair! Over and over again she stops to take a photo—and that’s AT LEAST 30 seconds for each photo! All that good walking, sniffing, marking time—totally wasted! She does not have any consideration for ME at all. And she tells me I should be grateful! Because a lot of dogs don’t get to go for walks with their human at all. That’s not true is it?
Where do you take your human on walks?
Mummy insisted I put some pictures on my blog for the humans to look at… I sure wish there was a way I could share my smells with you.
