Let’s get this straight:
NO dog is almost human.
A dog is a dog, is a dog, is a dog, is a dog...
FULL STOP!
Next point—there a two types of dogs:
1. real dogs – like me
2. people dogs [sometimes call dog people] – like Mummy and Daddy
It is easy to tell them apart:
· Real dogs have 4 legs and a tail.
· People dogs have 2 legs and no tail.
Real dogs are better than people dogs because of the tail and because they have twice as many legs.

Real dogs normally live in packs. Often the pack is made up of the parent dogs and their offspring.
People dogs also usually live in packs. Their packs are called ‘families’. There are all kinds of families, but a common type of people pack is made up of parents and their offspring.
A blended pack is when one or more people dogs live with one or more real dogs.
The Gane Pack is an example of a perfect pack.

I hope now that I have explained it to you that you will not call me a puppy. I am a senior dog – old enough to be a grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather [etc] dog. If you are a people puppy you might call your grandpa ‘Poppy’—you could call me a poppy dog.
Juvenile humans are often referred to as kids—this is completely incorrect!
Mummy knows this!
But she goes on calling them ‘kids’.
I use the correct term and always call them people puppies.
Kids are juvenile goats . Everybody should know this.
