It's Kentucky, NSW I'm talking about--a village south of Uralla. It was where of Captain Thunderbolt met his demise [according to 'authorised' history] and developed as a soldier settlement after WW1.
My explore started there. Practical research into the Gwydir Catchment...since Kentuck Creek is a headwater of the Gwydir River
A beautiful spring morning in New England... down to South Kentucky, once a railwy siding...I crossed the tracks and drove behind the old buildings... There I met a lady [Donna], some barking dogs and CHARLIE and 'adventure'! I asked if he thought he was a dog--but no. He had grown from a cute little piglet, into a strong amorous young boar seeking freedom and a flirtatious young sow. I have to admit I didn't feel like helping Donna get him back into his pen but, on second thoughts, how could I refuse?
Actually it wasn't too hard... getting me out of the pen without letting him escape again was more difficult!
